I quickly put the spinach corn sandwich in the lunch box and eyed the clock. ‘It’s 8 o'clock!’, I hollered. The kids scurried, leaving behind their half done lego castle. They pulled their unmatched socks up their feet, and then their shoes. A quick kiss and with a wave of ‘have fun!’, I gently ushered them outside. As they cycled away to school, I looked at my TO-DO list and closed the door. Tossing the phone on the sofa, I walked to the kitchen to make my tea. The phone landed without a sound and the screen gleamed, ‘TO-DO: TGIF – just chill’.
